Terumetal

Terumetal Ore is the only new world-generation that this mod adds to the regular Minetest world.

It can occur in both regular stone and desert stone, as seen here:

Like most other Minetest mods, mining it provides you with a lump of ore, which then can be cooked and turned into an ingot.

Terumetal is by itself brittle and not very useful as a material for making tools. Its true strength appears when it is alloyed with other metals or even other materials. In order to accomplish this though you'll need a specific machine to make it possible, a Terumetal Alloy Smelter.

It is necessary to cook enough lumps of Terumetal Ore to create the basic materials to construct an Alloy Smelter, but it is not recommended to cook many more beyond that since raw Terumetal ore lumps are used as flux in the Alloy Smelter.

Useful note: In order to make the entirety of the Terumetal mod usable in unusual modpacks such as void or altered generation worlds, the only special consideration that must be made is access to Terumetal Ore or Lumps. Of course, you will also need various other Minetest materials and Lava to get real use from the Smelter and other machinery, but strictly speaking all that's needed is this.
