1. Technical Updates

UK team

• The new developer starts 1 June, but will be on leave late June and July.
• Exploring contractor resource to take forward some work on splitting the repository to separate code and data, expand the mapping functions and to review the metadata format and loading.
• Developing a country case study for UNECE NRP task force, which will include high-level assessment against UN guidelines on NRPs – will include Kali and CODE in developments/review of this.
• SDMX meeting – keen to explore with US/CODE how best to take this forward.

US team

• Exploring possibility of participating in SDMX pilot. Not clear yet what it means, follow up is needed.
• GDP data by county will be available in another year. Phil will share a US contact

CODE team

• Proof-of-concept with CircleCI builds done - on Github
• Test-drive of Carto using their free trial for geographical display

Country/subnational interest in cloning the NRP

• Rwanda - UK hosting delegates in June and will do a workshop
• Germany - still interested in UK platform
• Armenia - expressed interest in taking their platform to the next level (already forked from US)

3. Next steps

• Geospatial meeting with Carto and Mapbox
• SDMX - UK may not have bandwidth for a couple months. CODE and US will follow up with Eduardo and Edgardo.
