UK NRP developments
- Development sprints set to start Feb 1.
- Going to explore obtaining and visualizing lower level geographic data. One of the results of the UK’s consultation on SDG reporting was lower level geography. The recent US subnational work may be useful.
US NRP developments - US
- Connected with the HDX team (that run http://humdata.org). They’re doing similar work in regard to open source data visualizations, and thinking about things in modular components. They also use a CKAN platform; and there’s potential in using some of their tools. More technical follow up next week.
- Continuing to identify subnational actors engaged in data collection using the SDGs, incl. with the City of Baltimore
CODE NRP developments
- Developed initial subnational proof of concept using d3 and test data for a few indicators.
- Submitted a number of issues for follow up
- The website is in development; we will share the prototype in a few weeks.
SDMX
- Brock has started a github issue on this - UK and UNSD are also in this conversation. DSD pilot is planned for end of January. UNSD’s technical POC is Abdulla G.
- Phil participates in monthly SDMX calls.
