This method works for both unlocked and locked bootloaders.

Rooting (Automatic, Windows Only)

{{Note|Make sure that you close Flashtool or any ADB program before using the root program.}}

{{Note| If you haven't already installed ADB drivers, here is a nice installer for Windows.}}

{{Note|If you've installed Flashtool, it will install the needed ADB drivers for you.}}

  1. Download the script and save it on the top of the C:\ drive.
  2. Extract ALL the files in the resulting zip archive
  3. Double-click on runme.bat to run the script.
  4. A command prompt will appear. Follow the on screen instructions.
  5. The device will reboot a couple of times.
  6. When the script finishes it will say ALL DONE
