Nexus Rooting
To finally enable root privileges on your device, you need to install the previously downloaded CWM-SuperSU-<version>.zip
file, which will give you the su
binary and a nice little app for security.
Replace the <version>
placeholder with the version of the SuperSU zip.
(replace with TWRP template)

Tap Install.

Select
CWM-SuperSU-<version>.zip
. -
Swipe to confirm flash.

Once the zip is finished flashing, tap Reboot System.
(replace with CWM template)

Select install zip from sdcard and then choose zip from sdcard

Select
CWM-SuperSU-<version>.zip
. -
Tap Yes - Install
CWM-SuperSU-<version>.zip
.zip -
Once it finishes installing, tap Go Back

Select reboot system now.
Once your phone is back on, open the app drawer and select the SuperSU app.

You are now rooted, and if you wish you can install a custom rom!
