@xow I've put together a rough proof of concept patch here for pulling the score back into the Database to eventually allow for activity completion based on score. When you have a moment, can you take a look and let me know if the approach being used would be acceptable to be incorporated into this module?

Yep this is spot on. Integrating Ajax is certainly going to be the best way forward.

Saving the scores like this will also help with #14 (highscores) which is a little off topic from a certain pedagogical point of view but often requested.
