Tech Stack

We have decided as a team to go with a simple tech stack of M.E.R.N (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) to ensure our project is easy to understand for new developers. This is because these technologies follow the industry standards which allows a large set of people to be comfortable with the technologies

We choose react for its versatility and its common place in the industry. Additionally we have many members in the current team who are experienced with the framework making it the best contender for our use case.

We choose the backend stack of Node, Express and MongoDB for its common place in backend development. Additionally many members have experience with the backend stack which resulted in us using it.
