Tech Stack

We have decided as a team to go with a simple tech stack of M.E.R.N (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) to ensure our project is easy to understand for new developers. This is because these technologies follow the industry standards which allows a large set of people to be comfortable with the technologies

We chose react for its versatility and its commonplace in the industry. Additionally, we have many members in the current team who are experienced with the framework making it the best contender for our use case.

For our backend stack, we have decided on Node, Express and MongoDB for its commonplace in backend development. Additionally, many members have experience with the backend stack which resulted in us using it.
