Meeting Activities

1. Discussed Django OS compatibility issues fix
   • Modified configuration file to work on both Unix and Windows
2. Talked about Django project structure and files
   • URLS file, models file etc.
3. Scheduled sprint planning meeting for Thursday, October 10th
4. Discussed peer evaluations
   • Need to be filled out carefully, and to include descriptive comments
   • We want to learn from our failures
5. Agreed to switch to Jira from PivotalTracker
   • Jira has sprint planning features, which were missing from PivotalTracker
   • Flowdock stays. We love it.
6. Talked about branching administration for git
   • Master = release branch
   • Dev = development branch
   • Additional feature branches
   • Only one person can ever push to master
7. Michael ran a git training session for Melville members who are not very comfortable with git yet
   • Covered staging, committing, pulling and basic branching

Action Items

1. Do a sprint planning meeting on Thursday, Oct 10
2. Migrate from Pivotal to Jira
   • Deadline: Monday, Oct 7th
3. Create Sprint 1 wiki page
   • Deadline: Thursday, Oct 10th
4. Write API CRUD tests
