The expression of single genes/isoforms is often shown over groups of cells (or other labels provided by study creators). Violin plots tend to work better than boxplots given the zero-inflated or multimodal nature of the data. Here we show the expression of GAD2 from Brain MD70 shown over annotated groupings of cells.
