Ghast Trap
The Ghast Trap is a functional block that can trap Ghasts with a beam of energy. When activated with redstone, the Ghast Trap emits a plume of energy much like the Encased Smoker or Encased Fire Jet. This plume is six blocks tall.
Who you gonna call?
If the Ghast Trap has a Magma Block underneath it, then, when a Ghast flies into its activated plume, the Ghast will be unable to move and attack and the Magma Block will turn to Blackstone. The Ghast can then be easily dispatched. If the Ghast Trap is broken or deactivated, the ghast will be able to move and attack again. If no Magma Block is present, the Ghast will not be caught.
