How does the LOD Cloud use provenance?

Numbers reported are as of 4 Feb 2014.

  • 142 datasets claim to have provenance metadata.
    • 362 as of 9 March 2015
  • All 142 have the lod tag.
    • 284 as of 9 March 2015
  • 104 of the 142 are in the lodcloud group.
    • 0 as of 9 March 2015
  • Only one of the 142 has the lodcloud tag.
    • 17 as of 9 March 2015

For a dataset that claims to have provenance, how do we find it? And if we find something that looks like provenance, how do we know we found everything that the tagger considered to be provenance?

We could ask the contact person. How many of the 142 datasets have email contact info?
