Time delay ODEs in Tellurium?

By time delay I mean: ->X ; X(t-6) //where X(t-6) is the amount of X 6 units of time in the past
Will we be able to specify this kind of ODE in Tellurium some day?
Justification: Some high dimensional ODE systems can be simplified using time delay equations. For example, in protein synthesis, the number of mRNA available in the cytoplasm increases the number of proteins created per unit of time, but does not change the synthesis speed of each protein individually (doesn't matter if there is only 1 mRNA or 10^5 mRNA in the cytoplasm). In such case, the use of time delay equations eliminates the need of multiple intermediate steps, which increases the system dimension by a lot.
