Release Checklist

  1. Increase version number from VERSION.txt.
  2. Make sure documentation is up to date.
  3. Pull changes from the develop branch to the master branch.
  4. Make a Github release targeting the master branch.
  5. Build and upload binary wheel to PyPI. (see Building Binary Wheels)
  6. Build and upload binary installers to SourceForge. (see Building Binary Installers)
  7. Update download links to binaries in README.md.
  8. Update tellurium homepage (http://tellurium.analogmachine.org/), i.e. links, versions, news, etc.
  9. Run the BioSimulators workflow at https://github.com/biosimulators/Biosimulators_tellurium/actions/workflows/ci.yml to update Tellurium in BioSimulators.
