Solution Pack Newspapers (Enhanced) Description Two content models, issue and page, provide the structure around which the solution pack is built. Functionality includes the ingest of TIFF images which are automatically transformed into the image derivatives needed for preservation and display, the metadata in MODS format, and the management of the object and its datastream. A viewer is included that provides a paged interface, zoom capability, highlight of search terms on page image and user annotation. The OCR'd content is fully indexed and searchable through a Solr search interface. Faceted browsing/filtering is also an option. A viewer is included that provides a paged interface, and zoom capability. The OCR'd content is fully indexed and searchable through a Solr search interface. Faceted browsing and filtering is fully integrated and configurable. It includes the ability to create sub-collections. A viewer is included that provides zoom capability, image rotation, and user annotation. The MODS metadata is fully indexed and searchable through a Solr search interface. Faceted browsing/filtering is also an option. The DC metadata is fully indexed and searchable through a Solr search interface. Faceted browsing/filtering is also an option. It includes the ability to create sub-collections. A viewer is included that provides zoom capability, image rotation, and user annotation. The DarwinCore metadata is fully indexed and searchable through a Solr search interface and results can be filtered based on facets from the metadata.
