Welcome to your US Parks App!
This gem allows you to access information about the different parks in each US State and territory. It provides information like the park's designation and a short description. There is also a url included for each park if you want to know more about your selected park.
This gem has not been published yet. Please clone this repo by typing this command in your terminal:
$ git clone https://github.com/khris22/US_Parks.git
Go into this project's directory by typing:
$ cd US_Parks
Type the line below and follow the on screen prompts.
$ ./bin/US_Parks
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
