Compensato is a rails app that can be run from any Linux environment with the required prerequisites installed. Simply enter the app directory and enter:
sudo rails s
into the terminal.
Just open any web browser after the server is running and navigate to http://localhost:3000 and away you go.
Once running each section has a "Usage Tip" to help you use the various functions properly.
The program will automatically mount the largest partition visible to the system at /media/ubuntu/compensato_client. You should be able to have the partition that you'd like to work with visible to the system either internally or externally. /media/ubuntu/compensato_client is also where you should mount any dummy or simulated Windows installations for testing.
