Glossary

• Actuator: A device that automatically controls an attribute of the environment (Fan, Thermostat)
• MVP:"Minimal Viable Product". This is the name originally given to the growth chamber, as it was first developed following an MVP process: build the simplest thing that accomplishes the goal.
• Participant: A person or device that collects a data value
• Sensor: A device that automatically collects a data value
