Narshe

Terra starts with 100 XP and level 3, Vicks and Wedge with 0 XP and level 1. We need Terra to end up level 5 at the end of Narshe, or Edgar will be too weak against the MekArmors. Here is the amount of XP needed for each level:

  • First fight against Guard*2 (96 XP)
  • Second fight against Lobo + Guard*2 (133 XP). Always pincer. Must kill Lobo to escape
  • Third fight against Guard2 + Vomammoth2 (195 XP). Must kill Vomammoth to escape
  • One (Snes9x) or two (Bizhawk) random fights in the cave, always Were-rat + Repo man (45 XP)
  • Two random fights after the cave: Repo-man + Vaporite (48 XP) and Were-rat*2 (42 XP)

Two strats for the fast kill against Whelk:

  • Two Tek missiles and four Bolt Beam. Whelk only attacks once. Needs level 5-2-2 or 4-3-3 to perform.
  • Three Tek missiles and one Bolt Beam. Whelk attacks three times. Needs battle speed 3. Possible with level 4-2-2.

Previous non-sketch TAS route: Vicks and Wedge escape on first fight. The random battle before Whelk is fought. Whelk is done with level 4-3-3. The two random battles after Whelk are fought. Terra: 100+96+44+65+15+48+42=410 XP.

Previous sketch TAS route: Vicks and Wedge escape on first two fights. The random battle before Whelk is fought. Whelk is done with level 5-2-2. The two random battles are escaped. Terra: 100+96+133+65+15=409 XP.

Current TAS route 1: Vicks and Wedge escape on first two fights. The random battle before Whelk is escaped. Whelk is done with level 4-2-2. One of the two random battles is escaped. Terra: 100+96+133+65+42=436 XP.
