Editing or Making Maps

If you want to make maps using Shadowmaker's assets or view the present maps, this article will explain how to do just that.

Requirements

Setting up GZDoom Builder

When opening or making a map for the Shadowmaker project, you'll have to include a few dependencies.

Include the following:

  1. Doom2 IWAD
  2. Add Directory as Textures: Shadowmaker\Textures\
  3. Add PK3 or PK7: shdwmkr_assets.pk[3|7]
  • Note: You might have to change the file extension of the asset archive file. Rename: .zip ==> .pk3 or .7z ==> .pk7.
  1. Add Directory: Shadowmaker\Scripts\

And you're done! Happy editing!
