- Additional diagnostic logging has been added to the backend of the Salad app to optimize the network for higher paying workloads.
- Improved backend communications for fewer network connection errors.
- A limited test will be conducted on new UI elements for workload preference selection during onboarding. A simplified settings menu will also be available to some chefs during the brief test.

- Introduced new preferences for workloads in the app settings. This will allow users to opt-in to optional workload types.
- Updated the machine onboarding setup flow to ask chefs to make their choice regarding these optional workload types.
- Note to chefs: The first new type of optional workload we’re introducing are workloads that deal with Adult Content. To be absolutely clear, there are no such workloads live today, we wanted to introduce this setting ahead of time to allow you to make an informed choice. This release will feature a lot of improvements under the hood for Container reliability. We are prepping for some beefy workloads coming down the pipe, and upgrading to 1.1.9 will ensure you are ready to capture those highly profitable jobs.
Chefs who do not upgrade to 1.1.9 will not be eligible for Container workloads, at all, after 7/21/23. So be sure to upgrade asap.

- 1.1.4 includes a hotfix for Salad's auto-update process where Salad failed to validate a new version installer. Chefs on Salad versions 1.1.1 and 1.1.3 should manually update by downloading the latest build directly from salad.com.
