Installation
- You can download the plugin on the Release Page, the latest version should be located on the top.
- Click on the Assets text, it will expand that section and the files would be revealed.
- You will see a .dll file and a .xml file. The dll file is the actual plugin, the xml is the default config that is shipped.
- Copy the .dll to <Your OpenBVE Installation/Data/InputDevicePlugins>.
- Copy the .xml to the following directory:
- Windows:
%appdata%/Roaming/OpenBve/Settings/1.5.0 - Linux:
~/.config/OpenBve/Settings/1.5.0
- Launch OpenBVE, Go to Options -> Next Page -> Input Device Plugin, select Discord RPC and click "Enable this Input Device Plugin".
- Click the Config Button at the bottom, a new Window should pop up:
- You may now head to Configuration Screen to start configuring your RPC.
This plugin already has an official Discord Application ready for use, you may however choose to setup your own:

Go to https://discord.com/developers/applications/ and create an application by clicking New Application button.
The name you chose will be displayed as "Playing [your name]"

Copy the Numeric ID that's visible below "Application ID".

Launch OpenBVE, Go to Options -> Next Page -> Input Device Plugin, select Discord RPC and click the Config Button at the bottom, a new Window should pop up.

Paste in the Application ID obtained in Step 2. to the textbox next to Application ID
