Configuration Screen
Below is an image of obDRPC Configuration Screen.
If you find this too confusing, you may download A premade config file, put the xml inside to %appdata%/OpenBve/Settings/1.5.0
, then restart OpenBVE.
1: Your Numeric Discord Application ID, found under your application in the Discord Developer Portal
2: The +
button represents adding a profile, and the -
button represents deleting a profile.
A profile controls what each situation shows on the RPC, for example you can make one called MTR for playing Hong Kong MTR Routes, and another one for playing London Underground Routes, with different icons, different units or a completely different layout.
You should have at least add 1 profile before configuring
3: These are a list of variables (Or placeholders), a special piece of text that will be changed dynamically when OpenBVE is actually running.
For example, {speedKmh}
will be changed to your actual speed in km/h in-game.
These labels are clickable, and it will automatically insert the variable for you on the selected textbox.
You can notice some labels are black/disabled, this means the currently selected context does not support it. (For example, speedKmh will not be available if you select any textbox in Menu section, because you're still in the menu and well... there's no way to get a train speed without a train)
4: These are the keybinds used when wanting to cycle through different profiles. Profile can only be switched in-game at the moment.
To rebind these keys to something else, simply click on it, press the key combination you want, then release the key.
5: It's just a green bar showing which context you're selecting.
6: This part has been changed slightly, on the latest version it should look something like this:
You should fill the textbox on the left, to be the text you want the button to display, then click Set URL to set the URL that this button will link to. (You must fill both text and url)
7: These are the list of profiles you created. If you have multiple profiles, you can click and configure that profile.
You can click on your already selected profile to rename the profile.
