Tadpole plots

Thibaut Jombart edited this page May 26, 2021 · 3 revisions

This page provides tadpole plots for the different WHO regions.

Tadpole plots are similar to the pinplots shown on our main page, and use the same axes, colors and shapes. They add a temporal dimension to the plots, showing the trajectory of the countries for 7 days leading up to the current time, each day being represented by a dot growing in intensity and size towards the present. The largest dot represents the current day. The resulting trajectories are called 'tadpoles'. Note that the color of a given tadpole is determined by the number of significant increases from the latest ASMODEE result only (i.e. ASMODEE is not run in the older days of the trajectory).
