Project description

When you start to work out in a gym, you'll usually have some kind of training program that you have to follow for a period of time (around a month) so you can reach your goals. This program, which I call a workout plan, is (sometimes) defined/created by a certified professional on physical health that I call coach.

In my experience with (not so big) gyms, these programs are always defined on a piece of paper that we need to be carrying around. So, my idea for this project is to create a system that facilitates this whole process, for both the student/athlete and coach.

For the workout plan to be built, the coach first needs some personal information about the athlete, like body measurements, and to answer a quiz about the athlete's routines, foods that the athlete doesn't eat, and more. When all this information is available to the coach he can build the workout plan.

The workout plan is mainly composed of creation date, expiration date, and more importantly, which exercises the athlete should do each day of the week.

Each exercise has its unique name, a set of images that show how to perform that exercise, a text description of details about the exercise, and which muscles that exercise targets.
