v1.1.0 (Bug quashing, and a change for Windows users)
Hey everyone!
Version 1.1.0 of CCIDB is now out with this release, with the following changes:
- Add a "sure to exit?" confirmation to some buttons (such as leaving search, leaving a record, etc,)
- A new Python-based backend for Take A Picture, which should work much better on most systems. This uses the zxing-cpp library to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Various other bugfixes.
Windows users! I have found a solution to Issue #2 and, instead of WAPP, we are now going to be switching to Laragon for the foreseeable future. Laragon provides a much more cohesive experience as well as easy upgradeability paths for the various binaries (Apache, PHP, Postgres, etc.). The documentation in the wiki will be updated very soon, so please keep an eye out for that if you plan on self hosting CCIDB.
Happy collecting!

v1.0.0 (Initial Release)
Version 1.0.0 of CCIDB includes all of the following basic features, with much more to come in the future:
- Fully offline initializer based on a fresh install (see wiki for details on installation)
- Ability to perform basic functions, such as create, update, and delete records, as well as upload and delete images
- Ability to search for records based on any number of criteria, including direct lookup if line number/barcode is known
- Comprehensive statistics page, including the ability to see how many active records there are, how many images are across those records, including a running total of the "cost" field across all active records (using local currency set by user, hidden by default but can be revealed with a single click)
- Detailed manual available for reference on how to use CCIDB
- BETA: "Take A Picture" functionality for if you're using "Micro QR" codes on your items, this may not work as expected at this time but improvements will be made in the future
Additionally, all features are currently synchronized with the online version, available for a one-time fee at https://ccidb.net. See the wiki for more details on why there is an online version and why it costs money.
If you find any issues whatsoever while using CCIDB 1.0.0, please make a new GitHub Issue and it will be looked into (and resolved if needed) as soon as possible.
Have fun using CCIDB and happy collecting!
