This is the Version of the Recorder that recorded the Backup-Audio at #35C3. It did record ~40 Channels per Room on all 5 Main-Stages over the whole 5 days, but the recorded files do have some issues.
As PTP-Sync did not work against the Audinate-Source (#11) and neither Decklink/Blackburst/Tri-Sync (#14) nor Voctomix/GstNetClock (#16) are implemented, the recorder was essentially free-running. This makes syncing the results to the recorded Video a guessing-game.
It seems some componenent dropped some of the Packets which results in missing Audio. Because the Wav-Files do not carry a Timestamp (#15) the files appear to be shorter (#13) and all the audio after the dropped packet is shifted.
The recorded wav-Files do not identify their length correctly in the Header (#12) so some Software that relies on this information identifies the files as being 4h (32bit Limit) long.
Also the UI crashed multiple times (#17) for no apparent reason – the recorder-backend continued to run tough.
During the Setup-Phase some UI-Improvements came up (#5, #6, #7, #8, #10) as well as some recorder-specific Improvements (#18, #9).
Still a lot work to do, but also better then not having a multichannel-backup-recording at all.
