The 'Contributor' role in the SDP-Tide Drupal Content Management System (CMS) is designed for users responsible for content creation and basic editing. This document outlines the specific permissions and capabilities for the Contributor role.
- Create All Content Types: Allowed to create content across core and custom types.
- Edit All Content Types: Can edit all content types.
- View Revisions in All Content Types: Permitted to view revision history.
- Revert Revisions in All Content Types: Can revert to previous content versions.
- Clone All Content Types: Enabled to duplicate content.
- Use Create New Draft Transition: Can create new content drafts.
- Use Restore to Draft Transition: Allowed to revert published content to draft.
- View Any Unpublished Content: Can view non-published content.
- View the Latest Version: Permitted to view the latest content version.
- View All Revisions: Can view all content revisions.
- Create Media: Enabled to create new media items.
- Update Any Media: Can update any media item.
- Update Own Media: Permitted to update self-created media.
- View All Media Revisions: Can view media item revision history (functionality dependent).
- Create, Edit, and Administer URL Aliases: Manage URL aliases for content.
- Administer Individual URL Redirections: Handle URL redirections.
- Administer Menus and Menu Links: Manage menus and menu links.
- Access the Webform Overview Page: Access to webform management main page.
- Create Webforms: Permitted to create new webforms.
- Delete Own Webform: Can delete self-created webforms.
- Edit Any Webform: Enabled to edit any webform.
- Edit Own Webform: Can edit self-created webforms.
Contributors do not have permissions for:
- Deleting content types.
- Deleting revisions in all content types.
- Performing certain content moderation transitions.
- Breaking content lock.
- Scheduling transitions for content types.
- Creating, deleting, or updating taxonomy terms.
- Administering user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Administering webform submissions.
