Internal Feedback Round 2B 28.11

Thoughts

  • Clouds are not always safe and accessible
  • Clouds are not only used for storing data -> also sharing/synchronizing

Ideas

  • Try and use a different starting line than "Imagine"
  • Maybe the article should not only glorify the concept of clouds
    • -> in the end its just a bunch of machines
    • -> the article could be more about criticing clouds / having a critical view

Two general comments from today:

Just because something is listed in the feedback, does not mean you have to implement it.
This list is simply a collection of everything mentioned in the seminar and might even contain conflicting opinions.
You as the author still have the freedom to not make certain suggested changes.

Second, a general comment today was, that the articles of 2024 are quite technical and complex in comparison to 2019.
We could all strive to make our articles more simple and understandable to the general public.
Not every technical term needs to be mentioned and explained.

@evos96 Are you sure the external feedback is for this article?

Yes, I checked, it's true. If this is because of the comment about not having a picture, we may have added your article to the survey before you added the picture.

Here you can find a somehow creative (!) feedback to your article:

As a startup, you may face the challenge of acquiring the right hardware and software to establish a solid framework for your business. Instead of building this framework from the ground up, you have the option to rent it!

Numerous companies offer a range of frameworks with varying capabilities, allowing you to select one that aligns with your specific needs.

Creative writing :

magine you’ve got a treasure chest full of precious memories—photos, documents, and all the stuff you’d never want to lose. Now, instead of hiding it under your bed (or on your computer), you stash it in a magical floating cloud that follows you everywhere. That’s “the Cloud”—your personal, sky-high locker, ready to keep your treasures safe and let you grab them anytime, from any device.

But wait—before you toss your jewels up there, remember: that cloud isn’t made of fluffy cotton candy. It’s actually a super-secure server somewhere on Earth. So, you’ll want to make sure it’s trustworthy, won’t snoop through your stuff, and keeps your secrets locked up tight.

The Cloud makes life easier—whether it’s backing up your files, working with friends on a project, or hopping between devices without missing a beat. Just choose your cloud wisely by weighing things like safety, reliability, cost, and privacy. It’s like picking the perfect treasure chest—only cooler because it floats!

creative writing ideas and suggestions

  • Stick to the sky as the example. It is accessible from everywhere (can see the sky from all over the world), but also it is accessible for everyone if not protected.

  • Originally, Cloud refers to cloud computations, which essentially mean delegating responsibility of managing physical infrastructure and running actual computations. This perspective creates a lot of space for the topic to be explained by some real world case, where people don't want to spend too much of efforts on doing some task by themselves, so they delegate responsibility to some other agent. For an instance, people can use public transport/private transport companies instead of buying a car and supporting it by themselves.
