Refactored the code so that the testing of an individual "umAppointment" for faculty membership was moved into a new method. Also newer Java idioms to simplify the logic. https://umd-dit.atlassian.net/browse/LIBDRUM-741

Closing this issue without merging because this pull request is based on the DSpace 7.6.1 codebase. The production DRUM was updated to DSpace 7.6.2 on November 12, 2024, making these changes no longer relevant. See Pull Request #233 for the changes made to the DRUM DSpace 7.6.2 codebase. |

Updates DRUM based on DSpace 7.6.1 with the
LDAP modifications needed for the Workday transition on
November 15, 2024.
Note: There is a separate pull request for DRUM based on
DSpace 7.6.2. Either or both of these pull request may be
merged, based on the timing of the DSpace 7.6.2 release.
