SWIM small

SWIM small is a 20-zone version of SWIM for testing. The purpose of SWIM small is to expedite integration of changes to procedures, parameters, settings and input data necessary for new SWIM application scenarios. A one year run of SWIM takes hours, whereas a one year run of SWIM small takes minutes. As a result, SWIM small decreases the time required to successfully setup and complete SWIM planning studies.

SWIM small setup

  • Clone the latest repo, which contains the master scenario as well as the swim_small scenario
  • Copy the master scenario code folder to the swim_small/model folder
  • Configure and run the swim_small scenario just like a regular scenario
