Importing crypt up-front causes an incompatibility with Windows as it is UNIX only, however users can still use md5

Hi, just wanted to follow up whether this is a good idea? I tested on my own windows machine and also verified existing behavior continues to work on Linux. Let me know if you have any questions :) |
