This plugin block organizes courses into corresponding years based on the course start date and displays courses by year in tabs.
In the new release, we introduce new settings that allow users to choose whether to display the course image and category information - course progress is also available for students view (provided "Completion tracking" option is turned on in the course settings). The settings are configurable and can be toggled on or off by the site admins.
- Navigate to
Site Administration > Plugins > Blocks > My Course
. - Enter the year value up to which you need the tabs to be built. By default, tabs will be built up to the year 2020.
- Log in to your Moodle site as an admin and go to Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins.
- Upload the ZIP file with the plugin code. You should only be prompted to add extra details if your plugin type is not automatically detected.
- Check the plugin validation report and finish the installation.
The plugin can be also installed by putting the contents of this directory to
{your/moodle/dirroot}/blocks/mycourse
Afterwards, log in to your Moodle site as an admin and go to Site administration > Notifications to complete the installation.
Alternatively, you can run
$ php admin/cli/upgrade.php
to complete the installation from the command line.
