Telegram-control-torrent

The Telegram Bot can control a Torrent client for downloading and searching

Notice

• Only use in korea because the site for torrent seed is in korea. so the result of search may depend on korean contents

How to Use

Torrent client

• You can choose torrent client if you modify agent_type section in setting json.
• We support two type clients: Deluge, Transmission

Install Deluge

$sudo apt-get install deluge-common deluged deluge-console

then execute the below

$ deluged

Install Transmission

$sudo apt-get install transmission-cli transmission-common transmission-daemon

Write setting.json

• token: The token is a string along the lines of 110201543:AAHdqTcvCH1vGWJxfSeofSAs0K5PALDsaw that will be required to authorize the bot and send requests to the Bot API.
• valid_users: The user that is list up in valid_users can communicate with the telegram bot. Every Telegram user has own id string. put your telegram id into that

Install python package

pip3 install -r pip-requirements.txt

Run

python3 telegram_torrent.py
