Thank you very much, wonderful work!

I have to admit, I was quite confused using ProofingTool for the first time. Switching to the edit tab, configuring the template, saving it as a template, and then it did not work until I did something and then the PDF preview did show up and I could export the PDF. But, I did test the plugin fairly quickly, just skimming over the readme file; more patient users will probably need less trial and error :)

I would also love to integrate the Light Table plugin with ProofingTool, similar to how Font Proofer is integrated. That way, you can compare past versions to the current document when using Git to keep track of versions. I’ll have to play around with ProofingTool more to understand it’s feature set and will report back in the Issues section on the ProofingTool repository.

All Angles works well!

Hi Florian, thanks for testing these out and the feedback! Super helpful.

We initially had the proof auto-generate in the preview window so that there’s immediate visual feedback, but it was causing some performance issues on larger proofs with lots of glyphs and instances — so we opted to trigger it only with the "Proof" + "refresh glyphs" button. Also, having a default template loaded upon installation would be best, but assuming "Regular" as an default style may not work in many cases... so I think the initial step of setting up the first template according to the current font may be inevitable. But hopefully it won’t be too cumbersome after that... It would be great to hear your thoughts on how to make it more intuitive for initial use!

Integrating the Light Table plugin is an interesting idea, especially for those who are Git-savvy... At Occupant we’ve just been doing it the old-school way of exporting and saving PDFs with the date string in the filename. Maybe the date-string suffix can be automated as part of the tool? We’d appreciate suggestions on the repo!
