Experimenting with Apple's new AVSampleBufferVideoRenderer API (released iOS 17) to see if it offers similar AirPlay support to its audio counterpart, AVSampleBufferAudioRenderer.
Unfortunately at this time it (still) doesn't appear possible to achieve this.
