Description

Addresses #41

Updates standards to use pyproject install. Note that python 3.6 is not tested here. This is needed to fix the issues in #40

Test Configuration:

  • Operating system: ubuntu, mac, windows
  • Version number: Python 3.10, 3.11, 3.12
