Fixes from #235

This is all the fixes from #235 without the FUSE code. Fixes:

• $PATH seemingly ignored #236
• Go get deprecated, build instructions out of date #230
• Probably fixes Installing on Fedora 36 doesn't work #229. User was following old build instructions which are now fixed.
• Potentially fixed appimaged stopped working #228 as much of the code that seemed to be causing the issue has been re-worked, but confirmation is needed.
• openLDAP user: appimaged fails to start #215
• Double slash in folder path #214 (This might have been fixed previously)
• inotifyWatch: *.AppImage notify.InMovedFrom only partly rewrites .desktop files #162 was probably fixed previously, but still had some occasional issue and should now be fully fixed. (also Moving appimaged AppImage file makes everything useless #142)
• Does not recognize lowercase extensions #157 Other issues he mentioned were already fixed, but now file extensions are not case sensitive.

Additionally #240 was fixed with #243 and can be closed.

Thank you very much @CalebQ42. Stil not sure what is the best way about FUSE. Maybe we should have that as an option?
