Ontology of Integrated Knowledge Space (IKSO)

The IKSO is focused on the representation of entities involved in/performed/appeared to be results of scientific researches.

It is supposed to use the IKSO as meta-description of data repository containing facts about research, their participants, results and publications.

Ontology of Integrated Knowledge Space (IKSO) consists of a set of Content Ontology Patterns (CDP). Any of these CDPs can be used separately by importing in ontology under development.

All CDPs are builded on the base of the Information Artifact Ontology (IAO)

Requrements:

The IKSO could be used by means of the following software:

• OWL API 3.4 and higher;
• Protege ontology editor ver. 4.3 and higher.
