Toolbar
The toolbar is placed on top of the Modeling Canvas, and provides quick access to the majority of the operations, such as creating, opening or saving, scaling the canvas, and more.
It is divided into five sections (from left to right):
- Document
- Editor
- Graphol
- View
- Reasoner
All the buttons on the toolbar feature a hover message to let you know what they do.
Eddy supports the standard profiles of OWL 2, specifically OWL 2 (Full), OWL 2 QL, and OWL 2 RL. The latter two are less expressive fragments of OWL 2, and the user can select one of them from a drop-down menu in the Reasoner section of the toolbar. When one of these profiles is selected, the nodes that are not supported by the profile will not be selectable from the Palette, and the syntactic validation will be run with respect to the syntax of the chosen profile.
