O3DE is a very large project. To ease communication and provide clearer ownership, the project has a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that are responsible for maintaining different areas of the project.

- Technical Steering Committee - The TSC is responsible for all technical oversight of O3DE.
- Diversity & Inclusion - D&I works to ensure O3DE is a welcoming place for all contributors.
- Marketing - Drives all O3DE marketing initiatives.
