As the name implies, this is a python script to organize your PlugY 11.02 stashes. You can load either a shared (.sss) or personal (.d2x) stash file, and the script will more-or-less-neatly organize the stash.
Simply run the main.py file or the executable. A dialog box should pop up prompting you for the stash file. Point it to the stash file you want to organize, and click OK. Assuming the script doesn't throw any errors, you're done.
The Settings.ini file contains some settings for how the script acts.
BackupStashFile = 1 (default 1) will make the script back up your old stash file, appending "OLD" to the end. I do not recommend that you change this.
IgnoreFirstXPages = N (default 0) will ignore the first N pages of the stash. These will not be touched in any way, and the items within them will not be sorted. Useful for having things such as stash pages of skillers, items with specific properties, etc, since the script can only sort by very general properties (item type, rarity, etc).
AutoCubeFlawlessGems = 1 (default 0) will automatically convert every 3 flawless gems of the same type into a perfect gem.
I tried to make the script readable and fairly easy to modify. Do as you please with it. Most of the relevant code for sorting item groups is in the to_groups() method in main.py. If you wish to change or add item whole item categories you will also need to edit item_data.py.
No can do. The script doesn't parse anything beyond the most basic item data. It would be far too much work to do so, and I have no interest in doing it. Either keep some manually sorted pages using the IgnoreFirstXPages setting, or modify the code yourself.
See above.
It will most likely not work with older versions, as v11.02 introduced some new flags, but it may be possible to make it work. Try commenting out lines 305-308 and uncommenting line 310 in main.py. If anyone tries this, send me a message so I know if it works and I will update accordingly.
If the mod adds items, then the item data (code, type, size) will need to be added to item_data.py. It will probably work if the mod does not change how the game handles item data, but I offer no guarantees or support.
Unfortunately it seems like the references I used for item codes are not entirely accurate. If you come across a key error, most likely one of the item codes is wrong. Try googling the item code and seeing which item it belongs to, and then change the appropriate code in item_data.py. Please let me know if you encounter this, and I will update the repo.
