About six years ago,
soongstarted blocking the use of build tools in the global PATH.cpiofalls under this rule, which means e.g.make hybris-booton AOSP 11 withoutTEMPORARY_DISABLE_PATH_RESTRICTIONS=truewill result in a boot image with an empty initrd. Patch replacescpiowithmkbootfs, the equivalent tool used by AOSP.
