Version 0.5
Additions:
- The Easy track, the first proper track in the game.
- Credits song (not used yet)
- Fancy screen-to-screen transitions
- Config options (accelerator invert, ability to turn off OPNA emulation)
- Ability to reset your scores
Changes:
- Fixed emulation backend to YMFM because the previous MAME core became a GPL 2.0 library, which is not license-compatible with CC-BY-NC.
- Various optimisations and tweaks.
- Made the game more robust against accidental scorefile deletion (instead of crashing it now writes the default scorefiles).
Now the attached source IS for this version. You can tell I'm new to using Github. :P

Source attached is NOT for version 0.3, Github attaches it automatically.
Version 0.2 (18 April 2021)
The earliest archived version of Magical Raceway. This version does not have a lot of content:
- Basic gameplay elements are present, but grazing doesn't do anything.
- You can save your highscores.
- Basic configuration elements.
- A barebones 2-stage test track.
- Music does not use OPNA emulation in this version.
- Beware: clunky name entry for highscores.
- Beware: Windows only.
Source attached is NOT version 0.2, I've only just discovered that Github attaches it automatically!
