Microsoft has broken the MDK Deploy feature in their latest version of Visual Studio in a way I don't know if I can fix (they have flat out deleted something). I am working on figuring out what to do.
In the mean time, you can easily roll back to the previous Visual Studio version by starting your Visual Studio Installer, clicking the More button, there should be a Roll Back option there.
