Tutorial: Getting iDynoMiCS
The iDynoMiCS code can be accessed in two different ways.

Download the latest stable release following the instructions in Section A: Downloading the code to run iDynomics . This is a zip file, and is a snapshot of iDynoMiCS at a particular time-point. This is the most stable version to use. Updates are released every so often. From version 1.2 onwards (coming mid-2013), iDynoMiCS will automatically check whether it is the latest version and if not offer you the opportunity to automatically upgrade to the latest version.

If you want to be at the 'bleeding edge', then you can download the version from the Github repository. This version will contain alterations and fixes that have yet to be rolled into a stable update. As this is the case, the version may not necessarily be as stable as the last stable release. However, if you wish to go down this route, follow the instructions in Section B: Downloading the code to run iDynomics
