Hi, I'm Kedar 🤙🏽

I'm a Software Engineer actively looking for new roles.

As a Bay Area native, I grew up surrounded by tech. Just around the corner from where I grew up, I saw Apple grow, and build  Park in my backyard. Surrounded by new opportunities, I knew that tech was a field I wanted to get into from Day 1. I just didn't know how to break into it.

With classes around me teaching different Computer Science basics, I picked up learning how to code in Python as one of my first languages. Learning it in elementary school, it's been an intergral starting point in my life as to where I began my Computer Science journey.

From there, my journey only continued. Encouraged by others and by my own personal wants, I dug through how to self teach myself a few different languages, and started to learn them to the best of my ability. I graduated from Purdue University in May 2022, and I worked as a Software Engineer at Twilio in San Francisco from July 2022 to February 2023 before being impacted by Twilio's mass layoffs. After that, in June of 2023, I began to work for another company called Striim, focusing on product growth and scalability. I learned skills using AWS and GCP, as well as started to lead development for a couple different projects on my team.
