This is a pre-release of OpenWebStart 0.2.0

Warning: This release is intended for early adopter testing and not yet ready for production use.

Among others, this release provides the following improvements and features:

  • installers for MacOS and Linux
  • the -Xnofork and -nosecurity arguments are no longer required
  • new system property "deployment.javaws" to enable the started application to detect its execution context
  • code signing for the installers
  • unattended installation
