Actually, this check is better than my previous one: only append .json if file extension is not .properties; replace in all other cases. This replaces the file extension even in cases when the extension might be ignored but is nevertheless .properties.

Thanks for your great plugin. I have added an option to ignore the file extension check. This makes it possible to process also property files with another extension.
