Latest Read-Modify-Write updates from Chip
In this release:
- This release provides two new file open modes, "r+" and "w+" which provide a new replacing write feature allowing you to replace values in files without re-writing the entire file. See: Features of Note for more detail.
- In support of these new modes, there is also a new
create_file()method allowing you to create an empty file. - We've also provided a means by which you can determine if mounting the flash using this filesystem would make any write changes to the flash. See
can_mount() - Fixes the circular file issue found in v1.4
